This is happening because prospective customers have been let down. It might even lead to a loss of sales.
Sega should have made an announcement by now about whether or not they are making their own version for the West. If they are not then they should add English subtitles and release it as a digital download.

So now Gamerant's favourite console doesn't have true exclusives anymore he's decided that 'exclusives don't matter anymore!' RUBBISH. Don't tell me that exclusives like Halo, Mario Kart and Gran Turismo don't sell consoles because they do!
If true, it makes sense. PS4 has a massive install base and a considerable share of the gamers will be casuals who wanted a PlayStation but don't spend as much time as enthusiasts. Xbox One owners have likely not thought the power disparity to be enough to dissuade them from their brand preference and they have bought their console for the exclusives. I'd say a bigger share of XBO owners will be hardcore.
All Xbox One exclusives launching day and date with Windows 10 has ramifications. It could mean that people who were going to buy an Xbox One for a favorite exclusive, will choose not to as they know they will be able to get it on PC without having to pay for a new console.
Ex-Xbox 360 owners who moved onto PS4 but love Gears of War might be reluctant to bps end on an XBO if they know they can get Gears 4 in 1080p 60fps on PC.
Great news. Don't get me wrong I have enjoyed many Assassin's Creed games, but they have all got a bit samey. A new location can only do so much. I hope Ubisoft are spending the time to reinvent the franchise. Let them also revise the story, as I didn't like it that recent stories were not 'real' and just a simulation. I look forward to AC reborn.

It was not widely played but that is because it was available to a limited audience.
There is a growing trend in some gaming blogs of being negative for clicks. There's nothing wrong with criticising a game that is of poor quality, however wait until you've played and reviewed the FINISHED game!
